6. Photographs, Portfolio Use and Client Privacy

Photography is the core service provided by JP Visuals and photographs will therefore form an important part of the information we process.

Photographs may be provided to clients through private online galleries or other agreed delivery methods.

Selected photographs may also be used by JP Visuals for:

  • Our website

Where a client has requested that photographs or a project remain private or confidential, JP Visuals will respect the agreed restrictions, subject to any legal obligations or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Clients should notify JP Visuals of any specific privacy, confidentiality, safeguarding or publication restrictions before or at the time of booking.

For sensitive or confidential commercial projects, additional confidentiality terms or a separate non-disclosure agreement may be agreed where appropriate.

7. Children and Other Event Participants

Photography services may involve children, guests, employees, performers, attendees or other individuals who are not the person who originally booked JP Visuals.

Where a client provides information about other individuals to JP Visuals, the client should ensure that they have the appropriate authority to provide that information and should inform JP Visuals of any relevant privacy, safeguarding or publication restrictions.

Where photographs are taken at an Event, JP Visuals may process photographs containing individuals who are present at that Event as part of providing the agreed Services.
